Driving along I-10 in South Eastern Arizona you cross a shallow lake that looks like a high desert. Mountains frame the sky reflecting off the surface. As the waters dry up, the lake bed becomes a dust bowl that can blow across the interstate highway as dense as a coastal fog! This painting is done with palette knife application of the oil paint.
